About Jons Tinted Tails:
JTT started as a simple hobby. Friends and I would get together on the weekends and work on our cars; from the basic oil changes to installing electric fan kits, suspensions, and more complex tasks. I too found a car that I had that itch to modify, it went through a bevy of changes from new exhaust, chip, multi-tone leather interior, TV screens, game consoles, and so on – but it needed an exterior cosmetic change as well, that extra touch.
With a basic comprehension of painting skills, plus a huge knowledge base from my father I was able to develop my own process for tinting taillights. Close friends became interested, and then friends of friends wanted their lights done too. From this grew our customer base; acquaintances, co-workers, and referrals. They all wanted that "euro" mod or a "stealth" look, or just simply the "anti-altezza". Word spread throughout the VW/Audi community, and as a result now has branched out to all auto communities. JTT now attends a variety of car shows in the United States and has our work displayed all over the world, thanks to our loyal customers.
It is all due to a hobby and a passion for cars that has created this business. Over the past 7 years JTT has steadily grown into what it is today. We now are looking forward to the future of JTT and its new endeavors.
